THERE'S NOTHING BETTER ON YOUR PANCAKES
THAN GRADE A MAPLE SYRUP FROM NEW HAMPSHIRE.
MAIN STREET MAPLE & HONEY FARM
Our sugar house and honey bee farm is located in beautiful Belmont NH. We collect sap from maple trees in two different orchards and process it into pure maple syrup in our wood-fired evaporator. Maple season starts in February and ends in early April. We always encourage visitors to stop in and witness this age old New England tradition.
Our honey bee colonies are spread throughout our apiaries located in the Lakes Region. Our queens are raised and hand-selected for exceptional performance in our tough northern climates to bring in a wonderful nectar bounty that will be converted into premium honey inside their hives. Our honey is harvested twice a year to provide our customers with a light yet sweet early summer honey and a darker, richer late summer honey.
We sell bee packages, nucleus colonies, mated queens, honey, beeswax as well as providing local pollination services, swarm recovery, and hive removals.
local raw honey
Made in New Hampshire
Our apiary consists of 6 bee yards containing over 80 beehives across the Lakes Region. In our area, we receive two honey flows: 1st in the a late spring/early summer to produce a lighter honey in taste and appearance, 2nd in the mid summer/ early fall which produces a darker and richer honey.
During our two honey flows, we place special boxes on the top of our hives for the bees to deposit their extra honey into. Once the honey flows are over we remove the honey in these boxes, extract them from the honey comb, and filter it to provide the best honey for our customers. The wax from this honey removal is then melted into our wax candles and wax bars.
